They sell Birthday Tickets, so Jane and I were both able to get a discount on our flights. It was the perfect time to go because while Kanazawa was deep into the rainy season, Hokkaido doesn’t have one. But it rained for our first two days anyway."
What could be better than this for the devoted traveler than to go some fabulous place at a fabulous price for your birthday?
