Birthday Girl at Ninety

Open Writing: Birthday Girl: "It is not everyday that someone reaches their ninetieth birthday. Statisticians have determined that only one in a thousand make it that far. My mother, who was born Louie Bennett, made it on the twentieth day of May, 2005. I flew to England to help her celebrate. I had last seen her in June of 2002, and had been surprised at the signs of ageing show on her face, and her sometimes yonderly gaze and conversation."

This story touched me. Celebrate your birthdays while you can!

I don't care how or where. Just take the time to connect with yourself and your loved ones any way you can manage.

Build a memory to savor all your life and theirs.
